Side Hustles

The phrase “side hustle” has become ubiquitous on social media, but what exactly does it entail and how does one get started?

Like many healthcare workers, I’ve come to the realization that in order to make significant strides in paying off debt and saving without succumbing to burnout, I need to supplement my income. This is where side hustles come into play—providing an excellent means of earning extra money. Common side hustle options listed online include becoming an Uber/Lyft driver, delivering food, working with Instacart, offering tutoring services, and reselling items.

If you’re anything like me, when considering these options, a few thoughts may cross your mind. Firstly, exhaustion may make the idea of undertaking additional work seem daunting. Secondly, after investing considerable effort into acquiring a particular skill set, you may prefer to utilize it for extra income.

It often seems like everyone online is peddling get-rich-quick schemes where money can be made without putting in any real effort. If something appears too good to be true, it likely is. However, I’m interested in exploring avenues for supplemental income that aren’t overly labor-intensive. Through this blog, my aim is to delve into common side hustle opportunities, assessing their profitability firsthand, and sharing my experiences along the way.
